AEROFORMA — Coffee Table
 
A contemporary interpretation of aeronautical design, where precision of line, nobility of materials and handcrafted work come together in a piece of singular character.
 
Aeroforma draws its inspiration from the metal panels and the distinctive seams of aircraft fuselages, translating that technical language into high-end furniture.
 
Its structure is built from 15 mm MDF, hand-clad in 0.3 mm aluminum sheet. Every surface is hand-satined and finished with a delicate patina of Judean bitumen that adds depth and nuance to the metal. A final coat of high-solids gloss varnish enhances its texture and luminosity.
 
The joints between panels and the exposed stainless-steel hardware express its industrial inspiration, while the circular details evoke structural elements of aeronautical engineering.
 
The clear glass top brings visual lightness and contrasts with the solidity of the aluminum. An open compartment, lined inside with dark-toned wood, provides a functional surface for books and decorative objects.
