A monumental manifestation of structural strength, fine leatherwork and aesthetic refinement that redefines the standards of premium interior design. This large-format coffee table has been developed from an original wheel and rim assembly from a Boeing 747, the legendary “Queen of the Skies”, whose imposing engineering revolutionized the history of transcontinental transport and set the standards of luxury on a grand scale.
 
Retaining its operational form intact, the component has undergone a rigorous process of material hybridization in our workshop. The imposing original high-pressure tire has been hand-covered with first-selection leather, applying thermoforming techniques under tension and heat so that the hide follows, to the millimeter, the contour and massive musculature of the wheel. The central core exposes the technical complexity of the aeronautical alloy rim, treated through a restoration process that demands more than 100 hours of manual labor, alternating exhaustive sanding with a polish of high technical calibre until a dazzling shine is achieved. As the crowning touch, the 16 perimeter bolts of high structural strength have been removed and given a mirror-chrome treatment, establishing a sophisticated and rigorous visual contrast. Conceived by Estilo Hangar, this work of industrial archaeology and high-end stitchwork establishes itself as the absolute visual axis of premium residential living rooms, high-fidelity lounge areas or executive offices of international standing.
