This exclusive set of two freestanding armchairs has been developed from an original cowling (engine cover) from a Boeing 707, the mythical transcontinental four-engine aircraft that inaugurated modern commercial aviation on a mass scale and redefined the benchmarks of global luxury.
 
The majestic conical, enveloping structure of the engine cover has been segmented and worked symmetrically in our workshop, requiring rigorous artisanal work. The piece stands out for the virtuosity of its metallurgical finishes, articulating a sophisticated play of optical contrasts: the imposing leading edge of the front ring has been hand-polished to a high-reflectivity mirror finish, while the panels of the outer structure retain a satin matte polish that respects the technical sobriety of the original component.
 
The concave compartment of each unit has been ergonomically fitted out and upholstered entirely in genuine top-selection leather, providing organic warmth, extreme softness and a durability conceived to last for generations. Conceived by Estilo Hangar as an absolute statement of style, this dual set occupies an integrated surface of 1.4 square meters, forming a focal point of strong tectonic character ideal for presiding over premium residential lounges, high-end lounge areas or senior corporate offices.
