Boeing 707 Airbrake Desk (TC-94 Presidential) — Herencia Aérea · Aviation Heritage Collection

A work of maximum tectonic power and historical density that brings a critical component of military aerodynamics to the level of senior management. This executive desk has been developed from an authentic airbrake (air brake) from the wing structure of the legendary Boeing 707 bearing military registration TC-94; the flat aeronautical-alloy surface originally designed to dissipate kinetic energy and stabilize the descent vector of the aircraft during its most demanding approach phases.

Beyond its formal sophistication, this component is an irreversible historical document of aerospace and geopolitical heritage. With its maiden flight in 1968 under the company Airlift International, the aircraft joined the Aerolíneas Argentinas fleet in 1973. By 1983, it became part of Squadron V of the Argentine Air Force under registration TC-94, fulfilling a strategic role of extreme operational value during the Falklands/Malvinas War in troop transport missions, armament logistics and transatlantic crossings under strict radio silence. It also served on international humanitarian missions under the United Nations within the framework of the UNDRO operation.

The robust high-strength aluminum alloy surface has been rescued from its operational state and subjected to a process of artisanal restoration in our workshop, preserving the purity of the technical metal and forming a work surface of rigorous minimalism. Conceived by Estilo Hangar as a piece of absolute status and institutional scale, this work combines cutting-edge industrial design with the unrivalled mystique of a real fragment of sovereign history.
