Grumman OV-1 Mohawk Propeller Blade — Herencia Aérea · Aviation Heritage Collection

A landmark of military and historical heritage preserved in sculptural form. This original utilitarian piece comes from a Grumman OV-1 Mohawk, the renowned twin-engine tactical observation and reconnaissance aircraft designed in the 1950s to operate in the most demanding battlefield conditions.

Made from a high-density aeronautical aluminum alloy, this propeller blade was recovered and underwent a meticulous restoration process in our workshop. Every surface has been hand-polished to a mirror finish that exalts its complex aerodynamic twists. As an irreversible testimony to its provenance and operational authenticity, the piece retains intact the original factory engravings and imprecisions, with their corresponding serial numbers and technical specifications engraved in the metal. Presented on a minimalist pedestal that respects its natural axis of gravity, the sculpture establishes itself as a symbol of power, precision and timeless design, conceived by Estilo Hangar to preside over high-end residences, senior executive offices or avant-garde private collections.
