This unique wall coat rack is made from an original panel from a Grumman Mohawk aircraft, an emblematic military reconnaissance aeroplane designed and built by Grumman.
 
The panel retains its original paint, its aeronautical markings, the identification plate and the safety inscriptions, including the iconic “REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT”, a detail that connects the piece directly with real flight operation and military aviation.
 
To turn it into a functional object, the panel was modified to incorporate two original seat belt buckles from Airbus A340 seats, from aircraft that operated for Aerolíneas Argentinas. These buckles were part of seats made by RECARO, a world reference in aircraft seat engineering.
 
The result is a functional and authentic wall coat rack, in which the history of military aviation and commercial aviation coexist in a single piece.
